Before committing to an event, do some research to make sure they’re the right fit for your business. To help get you started, here’s our list of top retail trade shows to attend in 2019.

1. JCK Vegas

When: May 31 – June 3

Where: Las Vegas, NV

Who should attend: Jewelry retailers

Discover what’s new in the fine jewelry market, with over 2,300 exhibiting jewelry vendors from around the world. With 23,000 retailers from 9,400 stores, including big box stores and independent boutiques alike, JCK Vegas is a great opportunity to connect and learn from other players in your industry.

2. ASTRA Marketplace & Academy

When: June 9 – 12

Where: Pittsburg, PA

Who should attend: Retailers in the toy industry

The American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) has a great lineup for ASTRA Marketplace & Academy, including networking events, product sourcing and discounts, workshops, and break out sessions.

Check out their agenda to see what workshops they’re hosting, which includes topics such as understanding child psychology and the science of play, marketing strategies, and employee management techniques. Watch their video to get a taste of the upcoming action and feedback from past events.

3. Outdoor Retailer Summer Market

When: June 18 – 20

Where: Denver, CO

Who should attend: Retailers who sell outdoor equipment, sporting goods, health and wellness products, and more.

If you sell anything related to enjoying the great outdoors—camping equipment, mountain bikes, watersports, pet products, health products—the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market is for you. This retail trade show boasts itself as the largest North American trade show in the outdoor industry and it has a lot to offer. Discover brands, suppliers, new products, and simply connect with the outdoor community.

4. Outdoor Retailer Winter Market

When: November 5 – 7

Where: Denver, CO

Who should attend: Retailers who sell outdoor equipment, sporting goods, health and wellness products, and more.

Can’t make the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market? Not to worry! Catch the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market instead.

This retail trade show is a huge draw for bike retailers. It’s a great alternative to the recently canceled Interbike show.

5. Know Show

When: July 8 – 10

Where: Vancouver, BC, Canada

Who should attend: Retailers in apparel, footwear, jewelry, gifts, home, sporting goods.

The theme of this year’s Know Show, Canada’s premier lifestyle trade show, is ‘big ideas for small business’. The conference portion of the event will cover topics such as in-store and online retail technology, industry trends, growth strategies, how to create a better customer experience, and much more. Check out the agenda.

6. SuperZoo

When: August 20 – 22

Where: Las Vegas, NV

Who should attend: Pet & supplies retailers

The biggest retail trade show in the pet and supplies industry, SuperZoo is not one to miss! Check out the agenda to see what’s lined up. In addition to sessions on pet industry trends, animal wellness best practices, and grooming, explore the exhibiting vendors. From food to pet clothes, there’s a lot to see.

STORE is Retail Council of Canada’s two-day conference held annually in Toronto. This show caters more so to the bigger players in the retail industry, but there’s value in attending as a small to mid-sized business. Review their detailed agenda to see the sessions and topics covered. You’ll no doubt recognize many of the accomplished keynote speakers, including representatives from popular Canadian retailers Aritzia, Lolë, and Hudson’s Bay Company.
